Paleo Mint Chocolate Almond Butter Fudge

Paleo Peppermint Fudge

Fudge will make any holiday get together good, and with this I finally got to try out my Silicone Bakeware. For this recipe I used a Silicone Loaf Panand it was the perfect size to use for the amount of fudge in the recipe.

Paleo Fudge Dessert

Word of warning though, with this if you’re serving this to others you might want to double up or triple the recipe so you can make sure you get some too.

  1. This is very yummy. Made them in a paper lined mini muffin tin. Firmed up pretty quick. Made 24 exactly. Thank you for the recipe!

    • You could use that size but you might want to double up the recipe to get a good thickness for this otherwise you might end up with a sliver of fudge. The silicone baking mold I used was a bread loaf size so 9 x 9 would probably be about double that.

  3. I’m allergic to all nuts. What can I substitute for almond butter? Would sunflower butter be ok?

  4. I have all of the ingredients on hand too and can’t wait to try it with my doTERRA peppermint essential oil, or even OnGuard, maybe. I wonder if I could sub organic dark choc nibs somehow? Just a thought. Yum!

  5. Has anybody tried without the peppermint?

    Almond extract…sorry

  8. As I am not a big fan of peppermint, could vanilla be used instead?

  9. Yes vanilla could be used in place of the peppermint

  10. Do you think it would work to substitute peanut butter and use vanilla extract instead of peppermint?

Or, maybe substitute Kahlua for the peppermint. I keep a small bottle of Kahlua to flavor brownies and the meringue for my choc pie.

I made this recipe but I used chocolate Shakeology instead of cocoa, crunchy organic almond PB, and put some chopped walnuts on top of the finished fudge bar in the cooling pan, This is an excellent flavor combination for my tastes!

  13. I’ve made this recipe a few times recently (doubled using agave instead of honey) & everyone LOVES it! thanks so much for a super easy n’ tasty dessert! :)

  15. Made it last night and everyone in my house loved it! Can’t wait to try it out on my mother-in-law who is a fudge fanatic. I added some crushed raw almonds at the end. I did have to stick it on the stove for a couple minutes to get the last chunks of coconut oil out.

  18. Oh yes this was yummy masha Allah (praise be to God). I used, unrefined coconut oil, organic cashew butter, organic, local, raw honey, organic, raw cocoa powder, & alcohol free mint.

  19. Mint and chocolate is just incredibly delicious combination :)

  20. MAN I GET MAD SEEING ALL THESE “PALEO” RECIPES WITH HONEY (maple syrup, agave, molasses etc. etc.) ALL SUGAR…yes, they are natural sugars but they are sugar all the same.

    I love your recipes!.

  22. Just made these and this is literally THE BEST fudge recipe I’ve tried so far! Brought me back to my dairy-fudge eating days. I wasn’t quite sure about using almond butter and peppermint together, but the cocoa covers up the taste well and the almond butter makes it melt-in-your-mouth! The only change I made is I subbed maple syrup because I prefer the taste over honey.

  23. Is vanilla ok instead of mint?

Hmmm.. Anyone used Yacon Syrup? Or stevia? I’m living Paleo/ primal but can not have high GI sweeteners such as honey or maple as I am a diabetic. Yacon & Stevia only have a GI level of -1 where as Maple & Honey are well over 50+.
